ABOUT MARIO BENNETT
Star of Arizona State became a journeyman power forward in basketball leagues on nearly every continent.
Despite sitting out an entire season at Arizona State, he set school records in blocks and field goal percentage, and finished in the top ten in scoring and rebounding.
In addition to playing with the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls, he spent time playing basketball in Europe, Russia, Jordan, and South America.
He was born in Denton, Texas, the youngest of four children.
Jerry Stackhouse preceded him, picked third, in the 1995 NBA Draft.
