Marjan Šarec

ABOUT MARJAN ŠAREC

Politician best known for serving as the Prime Minister of Slovenia. He was elected twice as the Mayor of Kamnik. He resigned as Prime Minister in January of 2020.

He began his career as a satirist and comedian. He graduated as an actor from the University of Ljubljana in 2001.

While working as a comedian, he was well known on the radio for his political impressions. This included an impression of world leader Fidel Castro .

He has been married to his wife Barbara Iskra Šarec since 2005.

He was well known for his impression of Osama bin Laden while he was working as a comedian.
