Long time professional dancer for ABC's Dancing with the Stars who won the Mirror Ball trophy with partners such as Kristi Yamaguchi , and Shawn Johnson . He and his wife started an indie pop duo known as Alexander Jean in 2015.

He won the Junior Latin American Dance Championship.

Kim Kardashian was his partner during Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars. They were eliminated in the second week.

He was born to parents Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas , who owned a dance studio in Houston, Texas. In 2016, he married singer BC Jean . In June 2023, they announced they were expecting their first child together. In November 2023 the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Banksi.

He was an extra in the film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone , which starred Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter.
