American con man and murderer who became one of the most notorious forgers in history for his forgery of documents relating to the history of the Chruch of Latter Day Saints. He received a life sentence after constructing and detonating bombs which killed Steven Christensen and Kathy Sheets in 1985.

He became skilled in the art of forgery as a teenager, forging water marks on various coins.

His forgeries of various Mormon documents were so convincing that they fooled even the most esteemed experts for years.

Both of his parents were devout Mormons.

He and Thomas Chatteron are two of history's most famous forgers.
