ABOUT MARK SHAND
Best remembered as the younger brother of Camilla Parker Bowles , this wildlife conservationist and writer of BBC travel pieces headed an animal advocacy organization called Elephant Family.
During his youth, he studied at both St. Ronan's School and the Milton Abbey School.
His publications include River Dog, Queen of the Elephants, and Travels on My Elephant.
He and his two sisters were born to Bruce Shand and Rosalind Maud Cubitt. His two-decade marriage to French screen actress Clio Goldsmith resulted in a daughter named Ayesha.
Before becoming the wife of her longtime love King Charles III , Shand's sister Camilla was married to Andrew Parker Bowles .
