ABOUT MARKUS BURGER
Specialized in jazz, New Age, and chamber music. He experimented with contemporary jazz improvisations of Bach's works.
He received a B.A. in piano and composition from the Netherlands' University of Maastricht and a Certification in Popular Music from the University of Hamburg in Germany.
He formed the jazz collaborative Accidental Tourists with whom he recorded his 11th album The L.A. Sessions from 2012.
His family noticed his talents early on, and he began taking piano lessons when he was six.
He studied with many notable musicians, including Kenny Werner .
