ABOUT MARKUS PROLL

Former goalkeeper who played professional in Germany for FC Koln and Eintracht Frankfurt and in Greece for Panionios F.C.

He was made fun of growing up because his last name means "lout" in German.

He was named best goalkeeper of the first-half of the 2006-2007 season by the German soccer magazine "Kicker."

He grew up with his family in Rheinbach, West Germany.

He and Jay-Jay Okocha both played for Eintracht Frankfurt.
