ABOUT MARTíN ZUBIMENDI

Veteran defensive midfielder who originally signed his first professional club contract with the Spanish La Liga squad Real Sociedad as a teenager. While playing with Real Sociedad won the 2019-2020 Copa del Rey. He has also played for the Spanish men's national team.

He initially began playing as a young boy growing up. He eventually joined the Real Sociedad youth ranks in the year of 2011.

As a member of Team Spain, he won a silver medal during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan. He was 21 years old at the age. His soccer fame has led him to accumulate more than 130,000 followers on his martin_zubimendi Instagram account.

He was born and raised in San Sebastián, Spain.

He played alongside Mikel Oyarzabal as a member of Real Sociedad during the 2023 La Liga club season.
