ABOUT MARTIN TILLMAN
Renowned cellist and television composer who rose to fame for his mastery of electric and acoustic cello music.
He moved to the United States in 1988 and received a graduate degree in music performance from the University of Southern California.
His cello performances and compositions were featured in such films as The Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight, Black Hawk Down, The Ring, Hannibal, and Mission: Impossible II.
He married Eva Tillmann in September of 2002. His longtime friends included composers Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams .
He composed the cello-based score of director Michael Mann 's 2001 film Ali.
