ABOUT MASON WILLIAMS
American guitarist best known for the song "Classical Gas" as well as his comedy writing for shows like Saturday Night Live. He has released 12 full-length albums throughout his career. In addition to the guitar, he also plays banjo.
He served in the United States Navy from 1961to 1963.
He won two Grammy Awards in 1968 for his instrumental guitar piece "Classical Gas." He was also a writer for The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.
He has a daughter named Kathryn Michelle with ex-wife Sheila Ann Massey.
He has had a lifelong friendship with visual artist Edward Ruscha .
