ABOUT MATHEUS FERRAZ PEREIRA

Professional center-back that was first signed by the Santos Football Club in 2005. A few years later, he was signed by the Fluminense Football Club in January 2019. During his professional career, he has played in Brazil, Tokyo and the Republic of Cyprus.

He first began playing soccer as a young child. He later joined the Santos youth club.

He has played in over 300 games during his professional club career. He scored a career-high nine goals while playing for the Recife Sports Club during the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Campeonato Pernambucano club season.

He was born and raised in São José do Rio Pardo, Brazil.

He played alongside Felipe Melo as a member of the Fluminense Football Club during the 2019 club season.
