Grammy-nominated recording artist best known as the bassist and vocalist of the pop rock band Superchick. They rose to popularity with hits "Anthem," "Pure," and "We Live."

He met members, Dave and Max his senior year of high school in 1999 and they formed Superchick from there.

Their hit "Anthem" was chosen as the theme song for the popular Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Gauntlet II.

He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, but moved to Chicago, Illinois at just three weeks old where he grew up.

He and Tim Nordwind are both bassists of popular Chicago-based rock bands.
