ABOUT MATT KORTHUIS
Dutch-Canadian left winger who spent the majority of his career playing the Netherlands. He finished his career in 2012 after a season with Australia's Melbourne Ice and has since become recognized for his coaching work. His Instagram account, where he posts training drills, has more than 100,000 followers.
He spent two years with the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League before going overseas to play professionally.
He represented the Netherlands at the 2007, 2008, and 2009 IIHF World Championships. He became a scout for the Prince George Cougars in 2013.
He is originally from Canada.
He and Jack Connor both played in the Australian Ice Hockey League.
