ABOUT MATT MCBRIAR

Electronic dance music DJ and producer who rose to fame as one-half of the duo Bicep. The pair have released singles such as "Apricots," "Atlas," and "Glue." He and his creative partner boast more than 400,000 followers on Instagram.

He and Andrew Ferguson launched the Bicep project in 2009. They originally ran a house and techno blog called Feel My Bicep.

He released music through the labels Throne of Blood, Traveller Records, and Mystery Meat early in his career. In 2021, he and Ferguson were nominated for the British Group and Breakthrough Artist awards at the BRIT Awards.

He was born in Northern Ireland.

Their music has been remixed by fellow producer Kieran Hebden AKA Four Tet.
