ABOUT MATTHEW GOLDEN

Former four-star prospect who played the position of wide receiver at the University of Texas during the 2024-25 NCAA season. While at Texas, the team won the 2025 Peach Bowl. He also earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.

He was a two-sport athlete while at Klein Cain High School. At the time, he played football and also ran track.

While playing in the 2025 Peach Bowl, he caught seven passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. In the process of doing so, he recorded the third-most receiving yards by a Texas receiver during the 2000s.

He has said that he wants to buy his grandmother a home with his football draft money.

He was college teammates with Arch Manning while at Texas.
