ABOUT MAURICIO LEMOS

Professional soccer player who plays for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Atlético Mineiro. He joined the club in February 2023. He previously played for Belgian club K Beerschot VA. He has played for the Uruguay national team.

He began his youth career at Defensor Sporting in 2013. He joined the senior team in 2014.

He won a gold medal with the Uruguay U23 team at the 2015 Pan American Games. In October 2017, he played for the senior national team in friendly matches against Poland and Austria.

He is in a relationship with Rita Alonso. Together they have a child.

In March 2016, he posted a picture of himself playing with Cristiano Ronaldo in a soccer match on his maulemos3 Instagram account.
