ABOUT MAX STREIBL

Former Minister President of Bavaria, and member of the CSU German political party who resigned because of a bribery scandal in 1993. He also served his country as its Minister for the Environment and its Minister for Finance.

He studied Law in Munich, Germany and graduated in 1955.

His last words upon resigning from office were "Adios, amigos!"

He married his wife, Irmingard, in 1960. They had a daughter and two sons.

He and fellow German politician Michael Naumann both attended the University of Munich.
