ABOUT MAX ZASLOFSKY
Four-time All-NBA first-team member while playing for the Chicago Stags who was also named an NBA All-Star in 1952. He led the league in scoring in 1948.
He played only one season of college ball at St. John's University where he averaged 7.8 points.
He played professionally for the New York Knicks, Baltimore Bullets, Milwaukee Hawks, and Fort Wayne Pistons as well.
He was married and had three children with his wife Elaine.
He was once the youngest player to ever be named to the All-NBA First Team until LeBron James broke that record almost 60 years later.
