ABOUT MAYJURAN RAGUNATHAN
Known better by the stage name Majoe, he is one half of the rap duo Majoe & Jasko. The pair rose to fame in 2012 after the release of their debut album Mobbing Musik.
Majoe & Jasko began rapping together and soon after began releasing their music through YouTube. Then, in 2011, they released the EP Übernahme.
After making his solo debut in 2014, his first three albums would go on to peak at #1 on the German charts.
His parents are Tamil immigrants that moved to Germany to escape the Sri Lankan civil war.
Among his many collaborations with other artists, he worked on the 2012 single "Ich will Beef (Remix)" by Farid Bang .
