ABOUT MEIRAV COHEN

Israeli politician known as a member of the Knesset for Yesh Atid. In May 2020, she was appointed Minister for Social Equality.

She completed military service in the Israel Defense Forces and served in the Army Radio as a producer and editor.

In 2004, she was appointed socio-economic spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office.

She married Yuval Admon. She has three children. Her parents were Sephardic Jewish immigrants from Morocco.

In 2021, she resigned from the Israeli parliament and was replaced by Ruth Wasserman Lande, who has been an advisor to Shimon Peres .
