Melsahn Basabe

ABOUT MELSAHN BASABE

Power forward who made his college debut in 2010 for the University of Iowa.

He was a captain, all-league player, and 3-star recruit at St. Mark's High School.

In 2011 he made the All-Big Ten Freshman Team.

He was born in Glen Cove, New York, but attended high school in Massachusetts.

He committed to play at Siena for Fran McCaffery , but when McCaffery took the head coaching job at Iowa, he switched schools to stay with him.
