ABOUT MICHAEL BADGLEY

Veteran NFL placekicker that was first signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He later signed a multi-year deal with the Detroit Lions in October 2022. He has also played for the Los Angeles Chargers , Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears during his NFL career. In 2023, he began playing for the Washington Commanders .

He previously played college football at the University of Miami . As a senior in 2017, he was named a member of the first team All-SEC.

At the end of his collegiate career, he held six different Miami program records. In particular, he holds records for longest field goal, most field goals made in a single game, most field goals made in a season, most field goals attempted in a season, most career field goals made and he is also Miami's all-time scoring leader.

Growing up, he lived along with his family in the Summit, New Jersey area. He is one of three siblings.

He is a former Miami collegiate athlete just like Ed Reed and Ryan Braun .
