ABOUT MICHAEL BURTON

Veteran NFL linebacker that was originally taken by the Detroit Lions as a fifth round pick in the 2015 Draft. He was later signed by the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2022. He has also played for the Chicago Bears , New Orleans Saints and Washington Commanders during his NFL career.

He played the position of running back while at West Morris Central High School. Shortly after graduating, he then began playing college football at Rutgers University .

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Los Angeles Chargers during week one of the 2015 regular season. He played in sixteen of seventeen games as a rookie in 2015. Collectively, he played for more than a half dozen different NFL squads throughout the course of his career. His first career touchdown came while playing as a member of the Chiefs.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Long Valley, New Jersey area. He is the youngest of two siblings.

He is a former Rutgers collegiate athlete just like Isiah Pacheco and Ray Rice .
