TV producer and Emmy-nominated director of the pilot episode of the hit TV series Homeland.
He obtained his B.A. from the School of Visual Arts in 1985.
His 2001 indie film L.I.E., which he co-wrote and directed, won two Independent Spirit Awards at the Sundance Film Festival.
He was raised in Manhattan.
He directed Michael C. Hall in both Six Feet Under and the pilot of Dexter.
