ABOUT MICHAEL PATRICK JANN
Known best for his work on the MTV sketch comedy series The State, this screenwriter, director, and actor also directed the 1999 comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous and co-wrote the 2006 movie Let's Go To Prison.
A native of Albany, New York, he was educated at a college preparatory school called The Albany Academy.
He directed episodes of numerous television series, including Flight of the Conchords, Suburgatory, and Community.
In 2001, he and his television actress wife, Lisa Lo Cicero, welcomed a son named Lukas.
He and comedian David Wain directed most of the comedy sketches on MTV's The State.
