French tennis player and Olympic silver medalist who turned pro in 1999; by 2013, he was a three-time doubles Grand Slam champion.

He began playing tennis at the age of six.

His father used to play for his favorite football team, Paris Saint-Germain.

He married his wife, Camille, with whom he fathered two children, Manon and Teo.

He defeated Sam Querrey at the 2012 BNP Paribas Masters quarterfinals.
