Michael Mann
ABOUT MICHAEL MANN
American director whose best known films include the historical drama The Last of the Mohicans (1992) and the crime films The Insider (1999), Heat (1995) and Collateral (2004).
He attended the London Film School and worked on commercials with Ridley Scott and Alan Parker .
In 2007, he was ranked #28 on Total Film's list of the 100 Greatest Directors Ever.
He married Summer Mann in 1974, and the pair had four children together.
He directed Tom Cruise in the 2004 feature Collateral.
