ABOUT MICHAEL GUNNAR NYLANDER
Retired NHL center that played hockey professionally for seventeen years. During his 17-year career, he played professionally in Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Russia, Italy, Austria, and the United States. He has also played for the Swedish men's national team during his professional career.
He initially joined the Arlanda youth hockey club in 1987. He was only fifteen years old at the time.
He won two gold medals while playing for the Swedish men's national team. He won his very first international gold medal in 1992 during the Hockey World Championships in Czechoslovakia.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Stockholm, Sweden. He now lives along with his wife, Camilla, and their children.
