ABOUT MICHAEL RUBIN

Business executive who is the Chief Executive Officer of the e-commerce company Kynetic, which he founded in 2011. He is also the Executive Chairman of their sub-businesses Fanatics, Rue La La and ShopRunner. He had an ownership position in the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Devils up until 2022.

He opened a formal ski shop at the age of 14 from the money he made from his bar mitzvah. The shop expanded to five storefronts by the time he attended Villanova University . He went on to found the athletic equipment company KPR Sports.

He was included in the Forbes 400: The Richest People in America list as well as the Forbes: The World's Billionaires list. In 2010, he was featured as a guest on the CBS television series Undercover Boss.

He was born and raised in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. His mother and father allowed him to start his first business, a ski-tuning shop, in their basement when he was 12. He began dating CNN news anchor Nicole Lapin in 2011. He is in a relationship with Camille Fishel , with whom he has two children.

He was a member of the investment group that bought the Philadelphia 76ers , along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith .  He had a deep friendship with Robert Kraft , the pair has attended many sporting events together.  In 2022 he hosted a huge summer party in the Hamptons which was attended by Charli D'Amelio , Dixie D'Amelio , Joel Embiid , Drake , and many other mainstream stars.  He threw the same party in 2023 which was included by top tier celebs including Tom Brady and Jay-Z .
