Known best as the wife of prominent Scientologist David Miscavige , this Texas-born woman became the subject of several missing persons police reports after she disappeared from the public eye in 2007. As of 2013, she still had not been seen in public; however, the Los Angeles Police Department announced that she had not, in fact, disappeared.

At the age of twelve, she became a member of the Sea Organization (the Church of Scientology's inner circle).

American television actress Leah Remini filed a 2013 missing persons report for Michele Miscavige.

She was born in Dallas, Texas, to Florence Fike Barnett and Maurice Elliott Barnett. Her husband, David Miscavige , held the high-ranking Church of Scientology title of Chairman of the Board of the Religious Technology Center.

As a prominent member of The Church of Scientology, she was reportedly involved in interviewing potential romantic partners for Tom Cruise following the breakup of the actor's relationship with Penelope Cruz.
