ABOUT MICHELLE CHAMUEL

American singer, songwriter, and producer who first gained fame as lead singer of the band Ella Riot, whose eclectic musical style earned praise from critics. After leaving the band, she participated in the fourth season of The Voice and finished in second place. In 2015, she released her debut studio album as a solo artist, Face the Fire.

She studied performing arts technology at the University of Michigan .

Face the Fire debuted at number 21 on the U.S. Independent Albums chart. She has cited Imogen Heap and Max Martin as major influences on her musical output.

Her parents are Joalie Davie and Jacques Chamuel.

She chose Usher as her coach on The Voice and sang U2 's "One" with him in the show's final round.
