ABOUT MIKEL ARTETA

Midfielder who joined Arsenal FC in 2011 after spending six seasons with Everton. He helped lead Rangers FC to a Scottish Premier League title, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup in 2002-03. He later became the manager for Arsenal FC in 2019.

He spent his youth career with Antiguoko and Barcelona.

He played on the Spanish U16 team from 1998 to 1999. He helped lead Arsenal to two FA Cups before retiring in 2016.

He had two children with his wife Lorena Bernal .

He joined captain Thomas Vermaelen on Arsenal in 2011.
