ABOUT MILTON BERLE
Played the role of Uncle Miltie, a pioneer of early television comedy as the host of NBC's Texaco Star Theater. He amassed over 100 different acting roles throughout his prolific on-screen career.
He appeared in silent films as a child actor and later chose his stage name at age 16.
He earned the nickname Mr. Television while being a manic TV show host. His last on-screen role was in the 2000 TV Movie Kenan & Kel: Two Heads Are Better Than None.
He married and divorced Joyce Mathews two times, from 1941-1947 and 1949-1950.
He worked with Arnold Stang on the Milton Berle Show.
