ABOUT MILTON WRIGHT

Bishop and the father of Wilbur and Orville Wright , the two brothers who were credited with pioneering modern aviation.

He attended Hartsville College in 1854.

He was a Bishop of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ.

He married Susan Catherine Koerner in 1859. The couple had seven children: Katharine Wright, Reuchlin Wright, Lorin Wright, Ida Wright, Orville Wright , Otis Wright, and Wilbur Wright .

He is the father of aviation pioneer Orville Wright .
