ABOUT MISHA DICHTER
Classical musician known for his masterful renditions of great composers and for his presence on the broadcast and concert circuits.
He was awarded the 1966 International Tchaikovsky Competition Silver Medal, which brought him international recognition.
He and his dog Thunder appeared together in the documentary My Dog: An Unconditional Love Story from 2009.
His family relocated to Los Angeles, California, when he was two. He started piano lessons when he was five.
He recorded the complete Franz Liszt Hungarian Rhapsodies. He received the 1998 Grand Prix International Du Disque Liszt for his Liszt recordings.
