Lithuanian basketball player who won gold with the Soviet basketball team at the 1972 Olympics.
He trained and improved his skills at VSS Zalgiris in Kaunas.
He won a bronze medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics.
He was raised in Kretinga, Lithuania.
He and Darius Songaila both played for the Lithuanian national team.
