ABOUT MOHAMED BANGURA
Professional footballer who plays as a striker. In 2011, he joined Celtic FC after Henrik Larsson recommended him. He debuted for Sierra Leone in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
He spent his youth career with FC Kallon.
He was the Sierra Leone Player of the Year for 2011. That same year, he became the first Sierra Leonean to play for Celtic. Collectively, he has played in more than 150 matches throughout the course of his career.
His first child passed away during birth.
He played as a 68th-minute substitute for Anthony Stokes in his debut for Celtic.
