Concert musician who wrote the 2002 book The Children of Willesden Lane about her pianist mother's time with the Kindertransport.
She won the 1972 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, which opened the door for her debut in New York City at Carnegie Hall.
She and her sister, pianist Renee Golabek-Kaye, gave a high-profile performance of Camille Saint-Saëns's The Carnival of the Animals in 1992, featuring 14 actors reading Ogden Nash's animal verses.
Her mother escaped Nazi-induced death thanks to the Kindertransport, but both her maternal and paternal grandparents were killed at Auschwitz.
She was instructed by many acclaimed artists, including Leon Fleisher , but she always said her mother was her greatest teacher and inspiration.
