He was born Morgan Harvey but goes by the stage name DJ Bruckup. He married food blogger Morgan Hawthorne in 2014. They have a daughter named Elle.
His wife is the food blogger behind I Need Some Mo! and the step daughter of comedian Steve Harvey .
