ABOUT MUSGRAVE WATSON
English sculptor of the early 19th century who made statues and portraits, including his portrait of brothers Lord Eldon and Lord Stowell.
He studied under Robert William Sevier and at the Royal Academy and then went to Rome.
He made a stone frieze for Moxhay's Commercial Hall in Threadneedle Street in London that brought him acclaim.
His parents were successful farmers.
He made a statue of Elizabeth Queen of England I .
