ABOUT MUSTAFA TLASS
Syrian politician and senior military officer who most notably was Syria's Minister of Defense from 1972 to 2004.
He was educated in Homs, and entered the Homs Military Academy in 1952.
He published several books and created the publishing company, Tlass Books.
He married Lamia Al Jabiri in 1958, and together they had four children.
He stated that actress, Gina Lollobrigida called him the one love of her life.
