ABOUT NAOMI GIRMA
Defender and midfielder known for playing with the San Diego Wave FC since the beginning of her professional career. She has also played for the United States national women's soccer team at the U17, U19, and U20 level.
She got her start at CV Crossfire, De Anza Force, and CA Thorns Academy. She played soccer in college with the Stanford Cardinals.
She was voted the 2020 US Soccer Young Female Player of the Year. Her soccer fame has led her to garner over 160,000 followers on her naomi_girma Instagram account.
