ABOUT NASHAT AKRAM

Former professional soccer player known for having played the midfield position for the Iraq national team. He also played for Al-Shabab and Al-Gharafa during his career. He has more than 1.3 million followers on his verified Instagram account.

He began his soccer career playing for Iraq's Under-17 league.

From 1999 until 2000, he was a member of Salahaddin's roster. From 2001-2013 he scored a total of 17 goals for Iraq's national team. He was named Best Foreign Player in the 2005-06 Saudi Premier League.

He was born in Iraq.

Both he and Gustavo Cuellar have played for Al-Shabab.
