Power forward who has competed for the U.S. men's junior national team and played in the 2018 McDonald's All-American Game. He committed to play for the Louisiana State University Tigers for the 2018-19 season. He began his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2019 and he was named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2024.

He grew up in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He won the 2015 Tournament of Champions with Roselle Catholic High School.
