Professional center that was drafted by the Sacramento Kings as the 39th overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft. He previously played professionally for the S.L. Benfica Basketball team in Lisbon, Portugal.

He began playing basketball at the age of ten.

He is the first ever Portuguese basketball player to be drafted into the NBA.

He was born of Bissau-Guinean descent.

He has played for the Portuguese sports club S.L. Benfica, just like Renato Sanches and João Mário .
