Contemporary jazz artist whose trio the Neil Cowley Trio received the 2007 BBC Jazz Award for their album Displaced from 2006.
He ably performed a Shostakovich piano concerto at Queen Elizabeth Hall when he was 10.
His trio laid down covers of Revolution 1 and Revolution 9 by The Beatles for Mojo magazine.
His family nurtured his musical abilities, and he began studying classical music at the Royal Academy when he was young.
He collaborated as pianist on Adele 's albums 19 from 2008 and 21 from 2011.
