ABOUT NEIL MURRAY
Bassist who played with Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, and the Brian May Band. He also briefly played with a Tokyo-originated heavy metal band called Vow Wow.
His first band, formed with his high school friends, was called Slap Happy and the Dum-Dums.
He played with Black Sabbath from 1989 to 1990 and performed on the group's Tyr album; he returned briefly in 1994 to record the Forbidden album.
He grew up near Edinburgh, Scotland.
Jeff Beck was one of his musical influences.
