ABOUT NG MING WEI

Martial artist who is best known for his contributions to the discipline of taekwondo. In 2017, he became the first Singaporean to take home a gold medal from the Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships. He is extremely popular on TikTok with over 23 million fans on his mingweirocks account.

He won a bronze medal at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games.

He was the winner of the Jury Award at the inaugural TikTok All-Star Southeast Asia awards in 2019. He leveraged his social media accounts to win a bid for the 2020 Olympic Games.

He was born in Singapore. His parents are named Cedric Ng, also known as Daddy Ming , and Priscilla Lim. He has a younger sister named Ng Wen Yi.
