ABOUT NICHOLAS BENNETT
English Conservative Party politician. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, he represented Pembrokeshire as a Member of Parliament.
Prior to beginning his political career as a local government official in southeast London, he worked as both a teacher and a textbook publisher.
After earning a degree in philosophy from the University of North London, he attended the education programs at the University of London and the University of Sussex.
He and his wife, Ruth, both served as local government officials.
He served in the United Kingdom Parliament under the prime ministerial administration of fellow Conservative Party politician Margaret Thatcher .
