Nick Fuhrman
ABOUT NICK FUHRMAN
Teacher and father of actress Isabelle Fuhrman . He hosted the television series Ranger Nick. In 2018, he delivered a TED Talk called "The One Thing All Great Teachers Do." He worked as an Environmental Interpreter and Naturalist for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for seven years.
He attended Virginia Tech University . He earned a PhD in agricultural education and communication at the University of Florida .
He taught undergraduate courses in natural history, environmental education and teaching methods. He taught graduate courses in educational program development and statistics.
His wife, Elina Fuhrman, emigrated from the Soviet Union. He has daughters named Madeline and Isabelle.
His daughter Isabelle starred in the film Orphan alongside Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard .
